Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using QuranPal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our App.

Description of Service

QuranPal is a mobile application designed to help users memorize and retain Quran, prayers, and duas using spaced repetition and other memory techniques. The App is a learning tool and memory aid, not a source of Islamic religious guidance or scholarly interpretation.

User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Acceptable Use

When using QuranPal, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content through community features
• Misrepresent yourself or impersonate others
• Use the App to spam or harass other users
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App

Content and Intellectual Property

All content provided in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of QuranPal or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

The Quranic text and authentic duas are from traditional Islamic sources. Our presentation, organization, and learning methodologies are proprietary to QuranPal.

Subscription and Payments

QuranPal offers both free and premium subscription options:

• Free Tier: Limited access to content and features as described in the App
• Premium Subscription: Full access to all content and features for a recurring fee

Subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.

Refund Policy

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled according to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Please contact the respective store for refund requests.

Community Features

If you use Buddy, Squad, or League features:

• You consent to sharing limited progress information with your connections
• You agree to interact respectfully with other users
• We reserve the right to remove users who violate community guidelines
• You can control your privacy settings and leave groups at any time

AI Features Disclaimer

QuranPal uses artificial intelligence for memory coaching and learning optimization. The AI:

• Helps track your memorization progress and schedule reviews
• Does NOT provide religious rulings (fatwa), scholarly interpretation (tafsir), or Islamic guidance
• Is not a replacement for qualified Islamic scholars or teachers
• May occasionally make errors in its recommendations

For religious questions, please consult qualified scholars in your community.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuranPal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
